I've played at most of the casinos throughout western Washington, and I would have to put Clearwater at the top of the list. When the slots are paying, there is no better place to play--clean, bright, friendly, good food, and very little smoke. The staff tries to be friendly and helpful, especially if you play often. Now the catch--when are those slots paying? I've had a few good days with the Clearwater, made hundreds. But for the most part, I've lost thousands looking for those good days. You can't come out ahead; you can only hope to pay a reasonable cost per hour for your entertainment. I would put that cost at roughly $40 per hour, unless you are wagering quarters or less. If you want to gamble in Washington, I think that's what you'll typically pay. I've decided that I can't afford to continue paying so much for this hobby, and thus have self barred myself for awhile. But for those of you who have cash laying around and want to get rid of it, I think the ClearWallet is about as good as you're going to find in the Seattle area. As to my previous question: your best chances are on Sunday through Wednesday, midnight to 2 AM. Don't go early or stay any later. The biggest reason I've lost more than I gained here is that they will take back the big payouts as quick as they can. Too many bad bays for my taste...
